About — The Digital Foundry
We are a foundry, not an agency.
The Digital Foundry is a UK AI product company. We take the raw material of the moment, capable models and restless agents, and forge it into products that do real work for the businesses that run on them.
01 — How we work
Most AI demos impress for five minutes and vanish. We are interested in the other kind: the product that is still running at 3am a year later.
We start with a job that matters. Not a feature, a job: the recurring work a business would pay a person to do well.
We build the boring parts first. Permissions, audit trails, cost controls and approvals are where trust comes from, so they go in before the clever bits.
We ship to a handful of operators early. Then we iterate weekly on what they actually do, not what we imagined they would do.
We keep the stack open. Our products are model-agnostic and deployable where your data lives. Nothing we build should lock you in.
02 — What we stand for
Four things we will not trade away.
01
Forge, don’t finesse.
We would rather ship something solid and sharpen it than polish a prototype forever.
02
Trust is earned per decision.
Every action an agent takes should be explainable, reversible and, where it matters, approved.
03
Boring is a feature.
Reliability, logging and limits are the product. The magic is only useful once it is dependable.
04
The stack is yours.
Open interfaces, your choice of model, your infrastructure. We compete on the product, not the lock-in.
